Remembering Brother Frank Tortorici (Alabama ’60)

We are saddened to report the passing of Brother Frank Tortorici (Alabama ’60). Brother Tortorici is a graduate of the University of Alabama, and held countless offices within Phi Sigma Kappa both nationally and locally, including District Governor, Alumni Club President, and Regional Adviser. In 2010, he was appointed to serve as the Brotherhood’s Chaplain. That year he was also the recipient of the Medallion of Merit, Phi Sigma Kappa’s highest honor. His life outside Phi Sig was just as remarkable; he served his country during the Vietnam War in the Army Special Forces, where he was a decorated with a Purple Heart as well as other significant honors. He held his Ph.D. in Chemistry, and his professional career as a chemist at Kodak results in more than 75 patents attributed to his name. The positive influence and mentorship he provided to countless men through his Phi Sig work cannot be measured. Please keep Brother Tortorici’s family in your prayers.
