Phi Sig Returns to CSUN

Phi Sigma Kappa will return to California State University, Northridge this fall.

Phi Sigma Kappa is excited to announce that the Xi Pentaton chapter is returning to California State University, Northridge this fall after a nine-year absence on campus.

Chapter Consultants Trevor Hartley (Ferris State ’19) and Cody Lamana (Northern Illinois ’19) arrive in Northridge in September. They will be working with alumni and the campus’ Greek life to recruit men for the expansion.

“In October 2018, two alumni from California State University, Northridge discussed recolonizing after a 10 year hiatus,” the Xi Pentaton alumni group said. “What started as a two member Facebook group chat turned into 50 Xi Pentaton alumni members generating new excitement for recolonizing Phi Sigma Kappa at CSUN. Over 30 Phi Sig alumni showed up for CSUN’s 60th Reunion in October 2018. On August 3, 2019, over 30 alumni from the 1960s, 1970s, 1990s and 2000s showed up to provide their support for recolonization and now that dream will officially, once again, become a reality.”

The Xi Pentaton chapter was founded in 1967 and was a steady presence on the California State, Northridge campus until its closing in 2010.
