Phi Sig Hires Drew Kerwood as Associate Director of Prevention & Wellness

Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity International Headquarters (IHQ) is excited to announce the hiring of Drew Kerwood (Delta Chi) as the new Associate Director of Prevention and Wellness as part of the education team.

Drew joins the IHQ staff with extensive experience as a fraternity professional and educator. In his current role, Kerwood will develop curriculum centered around harm prevention and holistic wellness, create prevention programing focused on challenges such as hazing, substance abuse, and sexual assault, and assist chapters individually with risk management and creating safe environments.

“I’m really excited to join the Phi Sigma Kappa team,” Kerwood said. “I am looking forward to supporting their efforts in developing new and exciting prevention and wellness resources for the Fraternity’s membership.”

“I’m excited about the expertise in prevention education and educational program development that Drew brings to our team. I believe our local chapters will greatly benefit from new resources, training and programming he will provide the officers and advisers” says Leslie Pedigo, Director of Education.

Kerwood recently completed a Master of Education in human sexuality studies from Widener University this Spring semester. He has also completed a Master of Education in higher and postsecondary education from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Science in health and physical education from West Chester University.

Kerwood served as the Health and Wellness Consultant for Phi Kappa Psi from 2017 until joining the Phi Sigma Kappa team. In this role, he developed programming and resources focused on health and wellness, prevention and risk reduction education, and personal wellness and development. He previously served as the Director of Chapter Operations for Delta Chi Fraternity from 2015-2016, and as a Community Health Educator for Planned Parenthood Keystone from 2013-2015.
