WHEN:
January 8 – 10, 2027
WHERE:
Hilton Arlington National Landing Hotel
2399 Richmond Highway
Arlington, VA 22202
WHO:
The 2027 Conclave will include tracks for Presidents, Recruitment Chairs, Chapter Advisors and Volunteers, and a new skills based track focused on Communications. Chapters should plan to send at least one member, but are welcome to send additional members to attend different tracks. The Adviser Track is available to eligible Chapter Advisers, with priority registration given to new advisers and those who have not previously attended Officer Academy.
WHAT:
Conclave attendees will participate in tracks to help prepare them for their roles or help develop an important skill set. Additionally, all attendees will attend important general sessions, including risk management and ritual education sessions. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other members from chapters all across the country, as well as network with Grand Council members, alumni volunteers and IHQ staff members.
TRACKS:
Undergraduates will have the option to pick from three tracks at the 2027 Conclave: Officer and Adviser Academy. Chapter Advisers may register for the dedicated Adviser Track, subject to the priority and capacity guidelines outlined below.
|
-
- President Track: This track is for Chapter Presidents (or a reasonable substitution). This track will focus on reviewing the role and expectations of the President, important resources and myPhiSig tools. This track will also provide additional skills development, including managing a team and managing the chapter during an emergency.
- Recruitment Track: This track is for Recruitment Chairs or those interested in learning more about the recruitment process. This track will focus on reviewing the role and expectations of the Recruitment Chair, how to leverage your branding organize recruitment, and train members on conversations related to recruitment, important resources, myPhiSig tools, and how to use ChapterBuilder. Before registering for this track, attendees should be confirmed by Lindsey Hollis (lindsey@phisigmakappa.org).
- Communications Track: Rather than focusing on a specific officer position, this track will focus on developing communications skills usable for chapter operations, and your own professional development. This track is open to any undergraduates who manage chapter communications, alumni communications, social media, or are interested in learning more about general communications best practices.
- Adviser Track: Designed for Chapter Advisers, this track will review the role and expectations of advisers, important resources and myPhiSig tools, and strategies for building strong relationships with undergraduate members. Priority registration will be given to new advisers and advisers who have not previously attended Officer Academy. Returning advisers may register but will be placed on a waitlist and accommodated as space permits.

HOW MUCH:
Undergrads: The registration fee is $800 per attendee, as noted in the 2026-2027 Fees and Dues Schedule. This registration fee covers the attendees program registration, hotel, meals, and transportation to the event. As it is an expectation to have at least 1 attendee at Conclave, each chapter will automatically be billed for 1 registration fee. Additional registration fees will be billed at the time of registration (individual attendees will not need to pay anything at the end of the registration process).
Adviser Track: Advisers are responsible for a $200 registration fee and their own transportation to and from the event. A shared hotel room will be provided. Advisers who prefer a private room will be responsible for an additional fee.
TRAVEL:
Attendees will be asked how they plan to attend Conclave during the registration process. Please review the options below to ensure you understand your obligations related to reach option. Please consider where you will be traveling from on January 8, 2027, as you consider your travel options to Conclave.
|
-
- Flying: Undergraduates flying to Conclave will be provided with a link to a travel booking site to assist with booking their flight for the event. More instructions will be provided through the invite email. The cost of the flight will be included in the registration fee.
- Driving: Undergraduates who choose to drive or take the train/metro to Conclave will be responsible for arranging their own travel plans. If multiple members of the chapter are coming, we strongly encourage carpooling when possible. Parking will be provided at the hotel location. Those who drive are eligible to submit for mileage reimbursement after the event.
- Train: Those traveling from the Northeast may be able to take the train into DC and the metro from the train station to the event hotel. This can be a pretty inexpensive option, especially if booked earlier. Those who take a train will be eligible for reimbursement of the train tickets after the event.
