2026 Shonk Undergraduate Leadership School

This year’s Leadership School will be hosted at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN, from June 25 to June 28.

How to Register:

To register, attendees will need to log into myPhiSig and click on the Event Registration button. From there, attendees should locate the 2026 Shonk Leadership School option to open the registration form. Those planning on attending will need to register themselves directly; no one will be able to register another member. Anyone who needs assistance logging into myPhiSig should contact their IHQ Chapter Coach. Individuals registering will not need to provide payment during the registration process.

Attendance Expectations:

Each undergraduate chapter is expected to send two members to Leadership School. Chapters may send additional members if they would like.

Who Should Attend:

The 2026 Shonk Leadership School programming will focus more on individual leadership development and less on larger chapter operations topics. Programming will also be split between two tracks: the Emerging Leader track and the Advanced Leader track. Chapters are encouraged to send attendees to both tracks rather than sending two to the same track, if possible.
- Emerging Leader Track
  - Track Description: Attendees in this track will have the opportunity to learn more about themselves as leaders, explore foundations of leadership, discuss what makes an effective leader, and learn about opportunities to lead in their local chapter, campus community, and Phi Sigma Kappa at large.
  - Suggested Audience: This track is designed for members who may not have had a leadership role in the chapter but are interested in future leadership opportunities. Open to anyone, though content will be geared towards members finishing their freshman or sophomore year.
- Advanced Leader Track
  - Track Description: Attendees in this track will reflect on their leadership experiences, think about what other opportunities they’d like to explore before finishing their undergraduate career, discuss how their experiences can help prepare them for life after college, and explore opportunities to stay engaged in Phi Sigma Kappa as an alumnus member.
  - Suggested Audience: This track is designed for members who have had leadership roles in their local chapter or in their campus fraternity and sorority life community. While open to anyone, this track will be tailored to members who recently completed the sophomore, junior or senior years.

How Much Does It Cost:

Early Bird pricing is $500 and will run from today through Sunday April 5. Starting Monday April 6, the Standard Registration price will be $600 per registration. Anyone registering after Sunday May 31 will be charged the Late Registration price of $700. Individuals registering will not need to provide payment during the registration process.

What’s Included in the Registration Price:

The Registration Fee will cover the following for each registered attendee:
- Lodging during the event – no one needs to book a hotel room
- All meals during the event – meals purchased while traveling are not included
- An opportunity to complete the Birkman Assessment – Learn more about the Birkman Assessment HERE
- Educational programming and activities
- Event materials and giveaways
- Opportunities to connect with brothers and alumni from across the country

What’s Not Included in the Registration Price:

Travel to/from the event
Meals while traveling
Any additional materials or purchases made for the event.

Getting to Leadership School:

Flying: If you fly to the event, plan on flying into the Indianapolis (IND) Airport.
Driving: If you drive to the event, parking will be provided once you are onsite.
